A Game of Chance
Barys The Duellist
A gentleman and a scholar.
His mother died during childbirth and father died in a nobleman’s war when he was 12. He was taken in by a drunken swordsman, Grigori, whom had informed him of his
father’s death upon his return. Grigori taught him the only things he knew, fencing, and the dance of combat. 17 years later, Grigori finally drank himself into a sleep that he never woke from. Not having anywhere to go and nothing to his name but Grigori’s rapier and pistols, he took up with a troupe of entertainers and gypsies called the Lord’s Players.
